How can I teach my child to be positive?

Help your child feel confident, strong and happy!

An affirmation is a positive word or sentences that children repeat to themselves to help them feel confident, strong and happy.

Here are some affirmations for a variety of child issues

Lack of confidence – I AM CONFIDENT AND I BELIEVE IN MYSELF

Stress – FEEL CALM AND RELAXED, I AM COOL AND CALM

Exam nerves – I AM RELAXED AND IN CONTROL,  I AM STRONG AND HEALTHY

Shyness – I AM OK

Worry – I AM RELAX AND KNOW THAT EVERYTHING IS OK

Achieving a goal – I AM BRILLIANT AND CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT

Try one of these affirmations – Repeat as many times as you can. You could also repeat it 10 times when you wake up, before you sleep or go into any new or stressful situation. This should make you feel much better.
