My young daughter is having some confidence issues and worries most days about things a child should not have to worry about. I am trying to encourage her to relax more in preparation for future life. Allowing her time on an evening before bed to do some simple relaxation with scripts aimed at children as in this book, has helped her sleeps better and get to sleep easier without as much worrying. I am very pleased with the book as is my daughter. It also gives us special time with her on an evening.

My 9 year old son has trouble getting off to sleep at night. I decided to try meditation with him and bought this book to help. I read him one of the meditations in bed every night (leaving out the part which guides the child to come back to awareness at the end) and it really works a treat in getting him mentally and physically prepared for sleep. He is often asleep before I get to the end! I read them in a really slow, soft voice and he seems to be really soothed by that.

kids love it, both at bed time and during group play when it gets toonoisy the kids alll get with it when you start reading these out.
It does work just takes some getting use to and then you’ll take it everywhere with you.
plus my daughter reads it herself now when she wants so worked out well and one that will stay with us for a while yet since i have another over active toddler on the rise!

Amazing book, when my daughter started school she was quite hyper and a real live wire in the evenings particularly before bedtime. I bought this book following a recommendation and we now regularly use it as part of our bedtime routine. My daughter is 4 and a half so not all meditations are on her level but she has quickly picked out her favourites and its a great tool.

We are nearing the end of this book and I can’t speak highly enough of it. Both of my sons ask for it at bed time and STOP THE PRESS sleep soundly afterwards! This is one of those books that you can see the positive effects of and wish you’d had as a child. The only downside I’ve found is I’m so relaxed after reading it that jumping up to finish any jobs is hard!

This book is beautiful. I am experienced at meditation, although the book is really for children, the meditations are so simple and it is easy to read one and remember immediately for adults also. This is one of the most useful, easy books for meditation for all ages that I have ever found. I will be exploring more books by this author.

What a cracking book. Full of two to three minute bedtime (anytime) meditations. I read it at bedtime to my two daughters aged 11 & 8, they both love them. Bedtime has become a lot better since using this book. Plus I get to read to my girls again.

Lots of ideas of how to calm children down. My daughter uses it for her class of 5-6 year olds and they love it. Teaches everyone regardless of age how to relax and ways to achieve it.
