How long does it take to train?
A.
There is around 8 hours of video content and an extra 10 hours of coach interviews. The shortest time someone completed the training was in a weekend. Usually people take a couple of weeks to a couple of months. You have 6 months to complete the course.

Do I need any experience before?
A.
Although many of our coaches have experience working with children either as teachers, therapists, social workers etc. We have had a number of coaches who are parents and wanting to expand their skills and work as coaches.

What sort of people take the training?
A.
We have all sorts of people take our training: teachers, nursery school teachers, social workers, foster carers, parents, dance/drama/yoga teachers, school nurses and all those working with children and interested in young people’s mental wellbeing.

Is your course accredited?

Yes, our courses are currently accredited with IPHM.

Do I need business training or skills?
A.
You do not need any previous business training to become a coach however, we strongly suggest that you are open to learning. As with anything, you’ll get out of it what you put into it. Although we’ll train you on the foundations of building a business, our most successful coaches make their continuing education a priority by consistently learning new tools to grow their businesses, strengthen their mindset and enhance their skills.

Do I need technical/computer skills to complete the training and be a coach?

You do not need to be an expert but you must be open to learning and using technology and Facebook.
Having basic technology skills will make the process much easier for you.

When can I start the training?
A.
The Relax Kids and ChargeUp training is on demand and so you can start it as soon as you wish. The Baby Mindful training is run on Zoom over 2 days (usually a week apart).

What do I get for paying my monthly license fee?
A.
As with running any business, there are costs involved. The monthly license fee ensures you have access to the entire Relax Kids coach portal.
You’ll also receive a monthly group coaching call with tips and tools to build your business as well as access to the 12 month Success Club to develop your confidence, business, personal development and money mindset as well as access to our Development Manual (PDF).
As a coach you also are listed on the Relax Kids website and you receive access to our coach forum for support and ideas.

How soon can I be certified?
A.
As soon as you have completed the training, run your trial classes and sent in your documentation, we will check this and send your certificate as soon as we can.

What are the steps to being a certified Relax Kids coach?
A.
You will need to write 4 lesson plans, run 4 classes and collect some testimonials, write up short case studies and upload your police check, insurance certificate, First Aid certificate and Safeguarding certificate.

What can I call myself after I am certified?
A.
Once you have successfully completed your certification requirements, you can call yourself a Certified Relax Kids/ChargeUp/Baby Mindful Coach.

Will Relax Kids provide me with marketing materials?
A.
YES. There are Relax Kids branded marketing materials available for you to use in your business.

Will Relax Kids send leads to me?
A.
As a Certified Relax Kids Coach, you are 100% responsible for generating your own leads and clients for your business. You have the advantage of a strong brand to back you up with plenty of online presence.
As a certified Relax Kids coach, you will be put into rotation to receive leads from RKHQ. Leads are not guaranteed. We’ll do our best to match the best coach with the clients needs and requests.

How much money can I make as a Certified Relax Kids coach?
A.
Although we can’t predict what your income will be, we can tell you that earning a full or part-time income is very possible with consistency, dedication and a positive mindset.
This isn’t a “get rich quick” scheme as all business success does not happen overnight and can take at least a couple of years.
Coaches charge between £40 and £60 an hour or £5 to £7 per child per class. Some of our coaches run between 10 and 20 classes per week.

I can’t choose which training I want to do them all. What is the difference?
A.
The Relax Kids training is for those who wish to work with children from ages 4 to pre-teen/teen. You can also run sessions for parents and teachers.
The ChargeUp training is for those who wish to work with teens and parents.
The Baby Mindful training is for those who wish to work with young parents and babies.
Most coaches start with the Relax Kids training and then take the other trainings to have a full spectrum of skills and be able to work with a variety of ages.

Is there a payment plan?

YES. For your convenience there is a payment plan. You must pay in full before training.
