Are children getting more angry?

Relax Kids does work!

According to a recent article in the <a href=’http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/primaryeducation/6255646/Not-wanted-in-class-the-growing-exclusions-from-primary-school.html’>Telegraph</a>, more than 40,000 children aged between 4 and 7 were excluded from their primary schools last year – and not all of them from deprived backgrounds.

Recent research by Ofsted, the education standards watchdog, highlighted the extent to which very young children are being excluded from primary schools for everything from physically attacking pupils and teachers to inappropriate sexual behaviour.

The report was based on visits to 69 primary schools, half of which had above-average exclusion rates for four-to-seven-year-olds. The survey echoes recent national figures showing that in 2007/8 43,290 children were excluded temporarily from primary schools, a rise of about 10 per cent since 2004.

Relax Kids does work!

In 2006 Sylvester Primary School in Merseyside had 19 exclusions. After using SEAL and Relax Kids daily, they brought this down to zero in 2009 and 2010! This may well show the powerful effect that relaxation can have on a whole school
